Background
There’s a good reason we use the word ‘taste’ when we encounter new things: a taste of the East, a taste of adventure, a taste of the exotic. It’s because as human beings, we can’t help but explore the world through our taste buds.
Every bite is a step into a new world. A reminder that there’s so much out there to be discovered, embraced and enjoyed.
Based on extensive consumer research, Symington's introduced a new line of convenience foods aimed at capturing this world of flavour, directly targeting UK consumers and their dining tables.
We worked closely with our friends at Brandon Consultants to launch this brand that they created into the digital space.
The brief
We wanted to create a digital experience that encapsulated the brand. Twistd meets the demand for experimenting with different global flavours and offers a convenient, healthy way to infuse colour and culture into every dining experience. So naturally our objective was to bring the brand to life online and saturate your screens with flavour!
We devised a strategy to launch Twistd by:
- Developing a website showcasing their new product range
- Launching their products through specific social media channels
- Enhancing the visibility of their range through social media advertising

Solution
Our creative approach centred on key principles: flavour, culture, and storytelling.
Our first step was to develop a website that brought visitors into Twistd's 'World of Flavour.' Our vision was to infuse every dining moment with colour and culture, whether on screen or in the shopping aisle. We crafted a website inviting customers to delve into and explore the product range. With the Twistd ethos in mind, our digital presence was highly visual, drawing inspiration from global textures, colours, and the vibrancy of street food.

Social
To complement the website launch, we introduced three social media channels – Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram – to support for the new product range. We curated content targeting Twistd's audience segments to increase brand awareness of the new products. We also introduced a brand hashtag, #TwistdFlavour, to encourage consumers to share their recipe ideas.
To amplify brand visibility and promote the new social media channels, we devised a social media advertising strategy. This strategy targeted Twistd's audience segments with engaging image and video adverts on Facebook and Instagram.
